A Platform to Share Your EV Charger with Neighbours
After your ChargeGuru charging solution has been installed, Co Charger’s community charging platform allows you to share your charger on a paid, bookable basis with nearby EV drivers. Help others switch to sustainable transport while earning a new source of income.
How it Works: Hosts
- After your ChargeGuru EV solution has been installed, download the free Co Charger App and select “host”.
- Set up your host account: Enter some basic information about your location and charger, set your pricing (there's a calculator to help) and a bank account to receive payment.
- Provide access details: Anyone registered as 'Chargee' within a mile of your location will be notified. You may get a booking request or message from a neighbour who already has an EV, or it may be that someone can make the switch to an EV knowing that your charger can be their “home” charger.
- Manage bookings: Accept booking requests from Chargees and approve sessions when they’re completed. You stay in control!
How it Works: Chargees
- Download the free Co Charger app and select 'Chargee' during setup.
- Find a host charger nearby. Add your payment details, then browse to select a charger in your area.
- Book a charging session. Reserve a slot – either recurring or on-demand. Don't worry, you'll only pay for the charging time you actually use!
- Start charging. Arrive at the charger, plug in and power up!
